I decided to start Hudson Valley Real Estate Genies because I wanted to work for a small local Boutique firm and there was nothing like that in the area. I was in the Top 2% of the whole network for Berkshire Hathaway Hudson Valley Properties and the company just kept growing and all around me I was seeing only large companies adding more and more agents so I decided to create my own company and make it exactly the way I wanted it to be.
I am committed to local charities and 10% of every commission earned is given to charities.
If you have worked with me in the past you know that I give my undivided attention to each client and that I have over 20 years of expertise in local real estate. Because I was an attorney prior to being a realtor I see myself as an advocate and facilitator for my clients not as a salesperson. I am direct and honest and also bring in my skill as a renovator and contractor for over 18 years to every transaction. I will help you visualize the possibilities of every property and if you wish I can help you bring that vision to life after closing through my company Renovation Goddess.
I have been living in the Hudson Valley for over 20 years and it is officially one of my two most favorite places in the world, the other being Tuscany. I had a major travel bug earlier in my life and have traveled throughout Europe, Africa, Asia, and Central America, and have lived for a few years in California, Italy, Hong Kong and Singapore. I feel strongly that there is nowhere I would rather be than right here in the Hudson Valley. I would like to help you discover the beauty of this area. There is something about the energy here that is unlike anywhere else. The area is protected by so many conservation easements and will forever look like this. In these changing times, where we see places developing in such unattractive ways, it is nice to know that we still have small towns with small family run businesses, and farm markets, where you know the people you buy your food from. This is one of the similarities that remind me of life in Italy, where people shop, and do errands on a daily basis and these activities are social ones. I always run into people I know and it feels wonderful. It is also special because there are many amenities in our small towns, such as unique restaurants and specialty gourmet food markets and shops that are not usually available in small towns, but are able to survive due to the secondary home market. I also love the spiritual community here. No matter what path you are on there are people here who will share it with you.
I believe my life experiences make me well rounded and suited to help you find or sell a home. I come from a real estate family in Israel and have grown up around owning and developing property. I have been a top producing realtor for 20 years and was also an attorney with work experience in large corporate and litigation firms in NYC, as well as working locally as the land acquisition attorney for the NYC Department of Environmental Protection and as an associate for a local real estate attorney. My wide ranging experience in real estate, the law, as well as being a licensed mediator with training in negotiations help me facilitate any transaction. I also speak fluent Hebrew and Italian, if that can come in handy. I look forward to working with you and helping you make your real estate wish come true.
